Our methodology

We research every platform we cover rather than run it ourselves day-to-day, so we're upfront about what that means: our reviews are built from public information and user-reported experience, not hands-on testing inside a live fleet or job site.

For every review, we look at:

• The vendor's own documentation, pricing pages, and product demos or walkthroughs
• Verified user reviews on independent platforms (like G2, Capterra, and industry forums)
• Discussion in trade-specific communities and forums where owners and dispatchers talk candidly about what they actually use
• How the platform is positioned against its closest competitors on fleet size, price point, and feature depth

Editorial scores reflect our own independent judgment based on that research. They are not paid placements, and a product's ranking or score is never for sale - our affiliate relationships, disclosed on the advertising disclosure page, have no influence on which products we cover or how we score them.

Pricing changes frequently in this industry, so we note pricing structure and model rather than locking in exact figures that go stale. Always confirm current pricing directly with the vendor before making a decision.
